Our story began in a small area of Toronto, Canada. Our principal broker incorporated the company and opened its doors to the public in August 2008. During that time, we were a one-person brokerage.
We had a tough beginning. In October 2008 Canada entered into an official recession which was led on by the Global Financial Market crash. However, that did not hinder our growth! We persevered through the dark days of the recession and started growing slowly and steadily.
Pegasus founders developed a business model based on providing professional and impartial advice to our clients. It is a business model which offers an excellent and ethical customer service experience. Our model grew based on strong support and training of our agents and staff. It developed further to ensure skilled and knowledgeable services are provided to our clients.

Like many other professional services, such as insurance, mortgage brokers are generally paid a finder’s fee when we introduce trustworthy, dependable customers to a financial institution. These fees are quite standard and nearly industry-wide so that the focus remains on our customers.
Whether you are shopping for a new home or deciding to refinance the existing home, we can help you shop for a preapproved mortgage which will lock the rate for a period of up to 120 days. Once we have met with you and reviewed your financial profile, we will forward your application to many lenders that will suit client preferences. Once we receive a commitment from the lender we can make an informed decision as to the product and rate.
